I run Jetty as a Java based web container, and it annoys me to have to run another server to handle other basic things. Many Java containers have CGI Servlets or support htaccess files but they all do it slightly differently and there is no real reason for that.

J for Java, no real idea when the "en" could mean, but my wife likes having something named after her. My other pet project is Jim - Java Image Manager, named for my dad so I thought I'd keep the theme going.
